UPDATE: ARILYS ARLENE LEONARD has been RECOVERED! Little details are known about the recovery at this time other than she was found safe and healthy. Thank You to all of those whom have followed Arilys’s case and have helped to bring her home safely!

Arilys Arlene Leonard has been missing since December 6, 2007 from Broomall, Pennsylvania. Arilys was born on February 3, 2005 and was 2 at the time of her disappearance. Authorities believe that Arilys mother, Kandice Leonard, may have been the one to take the later girl and they may travel to Hollywood, Florida. Kandice and her mother, Marlene share custody of Arilys, and in the months leading up to Arilys’s disappearance, Kandice had expressed displeasure with having shared custody of her daughter. As per court order, neither Marlene nor Kandice are allowed to relocate without written consent or a court order. Police fear that Kandice has violated the court order and is on the run with Arilys. Kandice has a history of drug abuse, and her mother Marlene,fears that she may be using again, furthering endangering her granddaughter’s life.

Arilys is not missing and we as a family wish this would be taken off all of the websites for missing children. Call and verify if you want to the center for missing and exploited children but please take this off
