Jasmine was abducted by her mother, Araceli Garcia Flores.  Jasmine was dropped off by her father for a one day visitation with her mother, however when he returned to pick the little girl up, no one was there and the residence was abandoned.  He attempted to call Garcia Flores, but her cell phone was no longer accepting calls.  It turns out that Garcia Flores had quit her job and told her employer she was moving away and would not be coming back.  A felony warrant for Custodial Interference was issued for Garcia Flores on September 24, 2010.  In January of 2013, Garcia Flores was arrested while attempting to cross the border from Mexico into Texas.  Jasmine was not with the woman and the little girl’s whereabouts remain unknown.  Jasmine may be in the company of her half sister, Yulisa Fuentes, who would have been 13 years old at the time of Jasmine’s abduction, and has not been reported missing.  At the time of Jasmine’s abduction, she was a shy little girl that enjoyed dancing, dolls, butterflies and other animals.  She liked the cartoon characters Dora The Explorer and Princess Jasmine, with her favorite colors being pink and yellow.
