Carlos was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Imen Islam Nabli. She is a white female, DOB October 13, 1977, other vital statistics and a photo are not available for her. Nabli told Carlos’ father, Jaime Melgarejo Amian, that her grandmother was sick and dying of cancer. He gave Nabli permission to take Carlos out of the country for two weeks. Nabli and Carlos flew to Germany, and from there to Tunisia. Once there, she cut off all contact with Jaime and neither her nor Carlos have been heard from since. They are currently residing in Tunisia and despite Jaime have full legal and physical custody, Nabli refuses to return Carlos.
