HOME!

Peyton Anderson went missing on February 18, 2008 from Shelley, Idaho. Peyton was born on April 18, 2005 and was 2 years old at the time of his disappearance. He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Michelle (Joan) Anderson.  It is not commonly known that close to 96% of all abductions are at the hands of a family member, more often than not, the non-custodial parent.  From our experience, we have seen how the public acts with a little less urgency when they learn the child has been kidnapped by their own parent.  The general belief is – if that parent loves them enough to kidnap them, then they will not harm the child.  This could not be more incorrect.  These kidnappers are the NON-CUSTODIAL parents – i.e. they have lost the right to have custody of their child in a court of law.  The reasons for this vary greatly, but the bottom line remains that these parents were decided to be the parent least able to care for the child.  All too often the custodial parent is lost in the chaos.  It is forgotten that, in this case the father, Rick Anderson, has had their child torn from their lives.  Rick spent close to 1 year wondering where is son was, if he was OK, if he would ever see him again.  As a mother, I could not imagine the pain he endured.  Even as Rick was struggling with his grief, he found the strength to stand tall and fight every step of the way to get his son back.  He never gave up once, and he went through the correct avenues to get his son back home, the courts and law enforcement.  His perseverance was rewarded in the end, and on November 2, 2008 – Peyton Anderson was brought home.  This Christmas, Rick realized a reality which was unsure only a few short months before, he was able to watch his son open his presents under the Christmas tree.  We are happy to say that Peyton is adjusting well, and a normal, happy 3 year old little boy.  The investigation in regards to the kidnapping of Peyton Anderson is still ongoing, and Rick is still standing strong.  We will continue to post updates on the investigation as we are able to do so.

RICK – All of us here at Lighting Their Way Home could not be happier, nor prouder than we already are.  You are a true inspiration to many.  There are other parents out there in your position, that can now look at you and your story and know that anything is possible, and to NEVER give up.  You have given them the gift of renewed hope and determination.  Not only did you never give up on your son, you did it with class, dignity and respect, not always an easy thing to manage in that position.  We know that Peyton will grow to be an amazing young man, because with a role model such as yourself, it is the only outcome possible.

THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of your journey.  THANK YOU for allowing us into your and Peyton’s life.  THANK YOU for reminding all of us, that miracles do still happen, and these children DO come home.  We greatly look forward to watching Peyton grow, and we will always be here for anything you or Peyton may ever need.

Denzel, Neimy and Oscar Izaguirre

UPDATE:  Denzel, Neimy and Oscar Izaguirre have been RECOVERED!  Not many details regarding the recovery are known, other than the 3 children were found safe and healthy!  Thank You to all of those which followed their case and helped to bring them home safely!

WELCOME HOME DENZEL, NEIMY AND OSCAR!!

Denzel, Neimy and Oscar Izaguirre have been missing since June 13, 2008 from San Francisco, California. Denzel was born on May 28, 2005 and was 3 years old at the time of his abduction. Neimy was born on November 19, 2001 and was 6 years old at the time of her abduction. Oscar was born on February 2, 2000 and was 8 years old at the time of his abduction. The children were abducted by their father, Oscar Ivan Izaguirre Sr. He was born on December 30, 1975, has black hair, brown eyes, is 5′5” tall and weighs 160 pounds. A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for the abductor on July 18, 2008. It is believed that they may have traveled out of state.

Nevada Lee Azen has been missing since June 5, 2008, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nevada was born on December 17, 2006, and was 1 year old at the time of her disappearance. Nevada is believed to have been abducted by her non-custodial mother, Jacqueline Azen.

Ramon is being concealed by his non-custodial father, Ramon Bayon, from his mother. They are believed to now be in Mexico.

Karissah Charlene Butler

Karissah Charlene Butler has been missing since September 29, 2006, from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Karissah was born on August 25, 2004, and was 2 years old at the time of her disappearance. Karissah was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Trina Renee Butler, whom had a felony warrant issued for her on October 22, 2006. At the timeofher abduction, Karissah was under the supervision of Florida’s Department of Children and Families (DCF). She was placed in the care of her maternal grandparents after her parents were arrested on methamphetamine charges. Trina took parenting classes and received drug counseling, and Karissah was placed back in her care after six months. The child remained an official ward of the DCF, however, and the drug case against Trina was still pending. Trina took Karissah and fled before the custody case and the criminal charges against her were concluded. Karissah and Trina may be in the company of Karissah’s father, Stephen Butler. Trina’s parents stated Stephen has a criminal record and got Trina involved with drugs, and that he had threatened her in the past. The Butler family may be in Rhode Island or Canada. Karissah has a scar on her left cheek.

The 5 Willard children have been missing since June 29, 2008 from Boonsboro, Maryland. Their mother, Katherine, disappeared with the 5 children from the Boonsboro area of Washington County in Maryland.

Agne Anna Willard was born on June 4, 1990 and was 18 years old at the time of her disappearance.

Thomas Patrick Willard was born on May 26, 1992 and was 16 years old at the time of his disappearance.

Lukas Christopher Willard was born on March 10, 1998 and was 10 years at the time of his disappearance.

Timothy Hunter Willard and Melissa Rose Willard are twins whom were born on August 25, 2000 and were 7 years old at the time of their disappearance.

Arilys Arlene Leonard

Arilys Arlene Leonard has been missing since December 6, 2007 from Broomall, Pennsylvania. Arilys was born on February 3, 2005 and was 2 at the time of her disappearance. Authorities believe that Arilys mother, Kandice Leonard, may have been the one to take the later girl and they may travel to Hollywood, Florida. Kandice and her mother, Marlene share custody of Arilys, and in the months leading up to Arilys’s disappearance, Kandice had expressed displeasure with having shared custody of her daughter. As per court order, neither Marlene nor Kandice are allowed to relocate without written consent or a court order. Police fear that Kandice has violated the court order and is on the run with Arilys. Kandice has a history of drug abuse, and her mother Marlene,fears that she may be using again, furthering endangering her granddaughter’s life.

Althea Braya Ann Chillik

Althea Braya Ann Chillik has been missing since November 13, 2007 from Fenton, Missouri. Althea was born on July 19, 2005 and was 2 at the time of her disappearance. It is believe that Althea is in the company of her mother Rachel Chillik, and it is believed they have traveled out of state. Althea has a small birthmark on her back and goes by the nick name Sweet Pea.
