  1. Here is a non biased tip from someone in the know. I was domeciled in Argentina as an infant by my mother and her dual German/Argentine husband. Though they had every right since wedlock made my mother’s husband my legal father and entitled me to citizenship, a judge in Buenos Aires where little Michael Reyes currently is domeciled said he didn’t give a damn what my biological father said. As long as my mother was not in hot pants, strung out,and shooting up drugs on the steps of the courthouse I was NOT leaving Argentina. Under no circumstances could I be away from my mother. Argentina places A LOT of emphasis on the mother&child, because it is traditional for women to do all care of children. The younger a child is the more important the mother is and the longer the child is in Argentina the less local courts care about the rulings of foreign courts. My biological father was told court order or not if he was caught anywhere near me or at all interfering with my life in Argentine he would be arrested and subsequently deported never allowed to enter Argentina again. When is a father against a mother in Latin America he has a better chance of being struck by lightning and will likely NEVER see his child again unless he makes nice with the mother for a bit of visitation or throws caution into the wind, grabs the child, and makes a break for the airport.
