Lighting Their Way Home Family Members Recognized

LTWH LOGO LARGEThere are times that in the midst of raising awareness for missing children, that I forget to recognize those who are fighting along with me.  Many people have been a part of Lighting Their Way Home, from establishing its foundation to supporting its campaigns by turning their porch lights on or lighting a candle in honor of all missing children each evening.  These people have formed a family at Lighting Their Way Home, and are touching lives, even while they may not know it, and I want each and every one of them to know that, the world sees their support, and I personally, am thankful and grateful with every piece of me to have these amazing people surround me.  What some may think is a simple Like on FaceBook, or a simple comment on a post, is actually a statement, a statement that tells the missing child’s parents, that we are out here, that we have not forgotten their babies, and that we will not stop until they are brought home.  Giving them this gift is an incredible thing to do, and an incredible gesture that needs to be recognized and applauded.

So – recognizing these amazing people is what Lighting Their Way Home will strive to do.  Each Sunday, we will feature members and followers who have gone above and beyond to show their support of the work Lighting Their Way Home is doing.  The Lighting Their Way Home family is proud and privileged to stand beside these people, and the support each of them has shown has brought this family closer.  What started as 6 voices (Donna, Trina, Lavonna, Gina, Candi – you know I love you all like sisters!), has become thousands of voices standing united and strong – and people are listening.  I look forward to continuing the momentum we have gathered and continuing to raise awareness about these beautiful children that need to be brought home.  If you have someone who you believe should be recognized – please don’t hesitate to send me their information!

I would like to thank each and every one of you personally.  Your support inspires hope in people’s lives when they are in their darkest hours.  So please take a moment to recognize what you have helped to do and create, take a moment to be as proud of yourself as we all are of you.
